Why did you join Dakotah! Sport and Fitness?
I joined Dakotah! Sport and Fitness when my children started daycare at Playworks. Since I had pickup duty, I decided it was a good time to start working out again.
How long have you been a member?
Since 2004.
What do you like best about Dakotah! Sport and Fitness?
I like Dakotah! Sport and Fitness because it has a more laid-back feel as compared to some other local gyms. The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful. The equipment is taken care of and plentiful. It’s rare that I have to wait for more than a few minutes to use equipment.
What area(s) of the club do you use?
I use the track, the circuit room, and the weight room.
What are your fitness or health goals and how is Dakotah! Sport and Fitness helping you attain them?
My current goals are to maintain strength, continue with a cardiovascular workout, and stay healthy.
Any tips for current or prospective members?
Don’t hesitate to ask questions of the staff or other members. Everyone is friendly and more than willing to help out.
Do you have a personal motto you’d like to share?
Don’t quit! If you’re having a day when you’d rather be on the couch, get up and go, even if for just a few minutes. Everything you do makes a difference!
